Ugh, I HATE when the power goes out! Mine went out last week for the evening and it was so spooky!! Drinks sounds like the perfect way to pass the time though :)

Oh my goodness, I totally agree with you! I'm originally from Mass. and I keep telling my husband that there is not supposed to be power outages during the summer. He smirks and says, yes it always happens. But, really, we never lost power during the summer in New England. (By the way, where in the NH/Boston area are you from?) All of these outages in the DC area this summer are driving me nuts. I live on the seventh floor and have two bad knees so...yeah.

I slept with one through high school I believe. I don't sleep with it anymore but I do still have it in my possession.

I have never given up sleeping with a stuffed animal! I still have my baby years teddy bear, but now I sleep with a stuffed turtle because it can go in both the washing machine and the dryer, and I just feel better about that. :)

When are you planning to officially graduate?

I know thesis writing is tough and exhausting...keep it up, you'll get done soon. Also, remember that once your PI signs off on it, NOBODY reads it. So don't stress too much. I had one faculty member on my committee read my dissertation, and that was only because my PI was his faculty mentor. LAME!
