Busytown!!!

Hiiiiiii!!!!!!

How are you?????! It's been soooo long! SO SO SO sorry for the M.I.A-ness. I've been soooo busy!

As you know, I had my last day in Scienceland. Not gonna lie, it was bittersweet. I feel happy because I have this ginormous weight lifted off my chest, but at the same time a huge piece of me feels missing. Maybe missing isn't the best word, but my 'professional life' has been entirely research. I've never had another 'real' job.

But in the end, I know I made the right decision and I'm looking forward to my new path in life.

I need to to take a little break from Bloggerville (maybe a week) to deal with all of the craziness going on.

Here's a taste of my life right now:

- Class 8am-4pm (straight!) for the next FOUR WEEKS!
- Finishing up experiments in lab (5-8pm)
- Last min bachelorette party planning! (Jet-setting to BOSTON this weekend!)
- Moving to a new apartment on Monday (with the Manfriend and ma sistah!)
- Working on my M.S. thesis
- Applying to PA programs
- Volunteering

So puh puh pleeeeeaase bear with me as I take a little bit of time off! I'm still reading your lovely comments and blogs just need to focus on the more pressing issues lately...

  7. Enjoy your break from the blogging girl! Even thought it sounds like you're gonna be SUPER busy!!
    I'm so happy for you!! I felt the same way on my last day of being an education major. I was SO sad to leave all of the people I had become friends with and the kids but you just have to do what you have to do. And you'll always have the memories!
    P.S. I finally e-mailed you back!! Sorry it took so long.. you'll understand why :)

  10. Hey girl! Been meaning to write..thanks for checking in while I've been absent from the blog world. Had a lot going on :( Back home now and hoping for some normalcy (Dad passed away at the end of march and Mom at the end of April). It's been a hard year but I'm back home with the family hoping to get back into the swing of things! Will let you know when the blog is back up...hopefully soon :) Thanks again!

  11. I am sure you made the right decision, girl! I love research but seeing patients and helping people is so fulfilling! I am sure you will love being a PA! And the sthetoscope suits you so well already!
