congrats on your first giveaway! If I could be any kind of scientist I would be a botanist. My dad studied botany in college, and he and my mom are both plant obsessed. MY sister and I were raised to know the differences between pine varieties and the coloration of flowering plants. I'm actually kind of bas at science though, lol!

So excited for this giveaway Lauren!

My fave science is "Behavioural Science" - currently, I am enjoying learning why people (investors, executives) are actually prone to irrational behaviour and how we can foster better business with this knowledge - sorry, "corporate law" nerd moment!

I know this is not a "hard science" but hopefully its okay - I'm leaving that expertise up to you!

xo Jean

P.S. My blog is back: http://bellabefabulous.blogspot.com/ - check it out swing by when you have a chance!

Hi Lauren,

Great superbowl weekend..tried you Sangria recipe...very tasty I must say !!

Thanks for the great giveaway...here goes...
As a technically challenged old fart (LOL I just got my first computer at home) the only tweets I know are the birdies in the spring...but I do check your blog daily, wouldn't have the first clue how to add you to a blogroll (laughed at the word-very similar to a slang term we use in England for Toilet paper-bogroll LOL)Sorry TMI !!

As far as Science goes, well my Biology teacher kicked me out of class for trying to save the frogs due to be dissected even though they had already "croaked" (sorry cracking myself up today!!). They wouldn't let me near the Chemistry class (I'm a bit of a klutz).

If I was a professional athlete (now there's a thought) I think I would like to be a track and field javelin thrower (again probably a bit dodgy to do being a klutz)

Favourite guilt-free comfort food ?...you know that already...LAUREN'S MAGIC SOUP...

Have a great day, hope you are digging out from all the snow

Karen :)

Of course I will go with my favorite science! My favorite science class was physiology which I took simultaneously with biochem and it was incredible to learn so much about the human body and how all the nutrients are used and processed. Fits well with my interests in health eating, exercise, etc!

Allison said... [Reply to comment]

My favorite science is food science! I'm a dietetics major, so most people would think nutritional science is my fav, and although I LOVE it, food science is fascinating. I am always learning something new and get answers to questions about why food does what it does!

Hmmm...soccer I guess. I've never played it, but it looks fun, and honestly, what soccer player has a bad body? lol

Oatmeal! You can do so many things with it whether you want savory or sweet!

I just started my blog today - I've been lurking around some food blogs for a while now. What a great way to enter the blogging world by entering a contest for some awesome items! :)

I love "science" in general, but I've started to develop a passion for genetics & evolutionary biology. I'm planning on taking the Genetics and Evolution courses at my school next year!

Hey! I just linked to your blog for the giveaway, all those gifts are awesome!
I think I'd like to study nutrition since I know a lot about it already and it interests me. And another thing, which will sound cheesy given your blog name lol, but I've always said that if I had had the patience and motivation I would have loved to study biochemical engineering. I had some friends that studied it in college and know another girl that gets to design those fake hips they give people. It's really fascinating! But alas, I was a business student.
I don't have twitter but you will be added to my blogroll :)
